Brian is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He earned a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Trine University in Indiana. He has interest in both Psychiatry and Emergency medicine, and he investigated suicide screening techniques in the Emergency Department as his master’s project. Brian graduated summa cum laude at the University of Illinois Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He was involved in medical research at UIC and the recipient of a National Science Foundation undergraduate research fellowship. After finishing his Bachelor’s degree, Brian completed his pre-medicine education at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Brian worked as engineer for 10 years utilizing free time to expand his medical education. He worked on an ambulance as an emergency medicine technician. He also became a certified phlebotomist and used these skills as a volunteer at a non-profit organization in Chicago.
